Batch-Processing Pictures Using Embedded Profiles

ImageMapper can be configured to look for embedded profiles in pictures you receive, and, if found, the embedded profiles can automatically be used as the source profile for processing. In this case, the use of the embedded profile will override any other source profile selection you have made.

  1. Select ImageMapper > Preferences...
  2. Click to place a check mark in the Use Embedded Profile to convert images check box.

Click OK to close the Preferences.

  1. Select File > Remap Pictures...
  2. At the Process Folder screen, click Select... to navigate to and select a folder of pictures to be processed.

  1. Note that the profile displayed in the Color: pop-up menu reflects the Default profile that was selected in the Preferences... menu; however, since you told ImageMapper to use the embedded profile, that setting does not have any effect. Make sure the Process Folder To: pop-up is set for the destination profile for that you wish to use for processing the pictures. Click OK.
  2. On the final screen, enter the name you wish to assign to the new folder of processed pictures (or accept the default folder name), and then use the pop-up menu to navigate to the location where you want the new folder to be. Click Create.

You will see a progress bar, indicating that the pictures are being processed. Because you indicated to use the embedded profile in the Preferences, embedded profiles will automatically be used for processing.
